Hey There.

It took nearly thirty six years for me to embrace photography. Prior to that, I was a camera for hire, working on both video and still projects for businesses and nonprofits. Based in New England, my work took me around the world and back again: documenting food programs in Panama, health clinics in Haiti, and myriad stories in my home region of Connecticut.

Through all this time, I gravitated toward portraiture as storytelling. I’ve photographed musicians, poets, CEO’s, unhoused people, farmers, athletes, entrepreneurs- all for the purpose of documenting the confluence of a particular person at a particular time. I’m particularly drawn to those who seem to be after “the marrow of life”.
