Hillary + Eric: Mansion at Bald Hill (Video)

Starting "Blog 2.0" and having no content is somewhat ironic so let's kick this off with a wedding video I recently completed with the help of Michael Zaritheny

Hillary and I go back to our days at ECSU (which is referred to as Eastern now, not ECSU, because... branding...despite the fact that they went through something like three mascots/logos in my time there). We stayed in touch on Facebook and I was thrilled when she reached out asking for me to do her wedding video.

The Mansion at Bald Hill is always professional and beautiful and it was a pleasure to shoot on their grounds again. It also helped that the rain cleared out in the morning and we had a splendid summer day to film on...great vibes!

Hillary and Eric were so fun to work with. Their families were equally delightful and the bridal party was an absolute riot. We couldn't have asked for a better place to film or better people to celebrate with. Enjoy the teaser!

Shot on C100 Mk II's, Sony A7s ii.

Edited in Adobe Premiere.

Music licensed through Artlist.io. Track: Reunion by Ben Winwood.

Nicole and Steve: Engagement Shoot in Glastonbury

This session took place around the Glastonbury Ferry on a misty morning. I love the neutral tones in these images and the candid smiles of Nicole and Steve...they're such a playful and fun couple in front of the camera. Enjoy the images.

Eminet + Jeff: New Haven, CT

I think it was the determined warmth of the spirit of this wedding that pushed the rain away after the ceremony, just in time to walk around Yale for some of my favorite wedding photos ever! Jeff and Eminet's day was so much fun and was filled with an abundance of joy and two amazing families. Guests were treated to an array of food later at the Old Lyme Art Association, including some authentic Ethiopian food! Congrats you two on a beautiful wedding, many blessings on your marriage!
